11-13m Littoral / riverine version
The Barracuda Littoral / Riverine version is for a high speed assault and troop transport craft capable of transporting up to 16 combatants, all positioned on shock mitigation seating. Waterjet propulsion and a shallow draft of .75m allows riverine and inland waterway operations as well as inshore coastal waters. Two types of main weapon can be incorporated, either a remote controlled gyroscopically stabilised 12.7mm machine gun / 40mm grenade launcher externaly mounted to the cabin roof, or a motorised turret 7.62 maned machine gun (Shown) operated through a watertight hatch incorporated in the main cabin roof, the gun swings down and is stored internally in the upper section of the roof when not in use and operated from a platform inside the cabin. Removable gun mount pedestals are positioned on the aft deck and allow the mounting of additional fire power from 12.7mm, 7.62mm machine guns or Min Gun. Lightweight ballistic protection can optionally be incorporated. A troop disembarkation ramp is integrated into the hinged bow section and forward cockpit, this enables the boat to be beached to allow troops disembarkation under supresion fire cover delivered by the motorised gun turret. The design is based upon Barracuda incorporating a modification to the foredeck to incorporate the disembarkation ramp. The cabin roofs upper section is lowered to incorporate the mounting of the main weapon machine gun. Depending on specification a maximum speed of 40kts is available. Barracuda 13m version
Barracuda can be supplied in a 13m version. A choice of customer specified weapons systems is offered, either a RC gyro-stabilised machine gun or a motorised turret manned system in the forward cabin, with the latter Barracuda II is capable of carrying up to 16 crew and combatants. A range of non lethal weapons including a RC water canon and Hyperspike sonic disruptor can be incorporated.The larger aft deck allows launch and recovery of UAVOs and allows additional pedestal mounted weapons to be deployed on the aft deck. Dive operations are enabled via a transom dive platform. Propulsion can be by conventional sternger or waterjets for maximum speeds of 35-45kts. Ballistic glass and lightweight kevlar panels provide ballistic protection to BR6 (7.62mm projectile) The internal arrangement and weapon fit for the Barracuda can be modular. Three different configurations are possible for the arrangement of the forward accommodation and weapon fit within a single vessel platform. Modules can be interchangeable between the three different options, with the choice being determined by the mission requirements: Assault / patrol, Module 1. Remove control gyroscopically stabilized machine gun in its sealed deployment compartment. Assault / Troop deployment, Module 2. Motorized gun turret and manned machine gun operated via watertight hatch and an 8 combatant seating module. Patrol / S.A.R. Module 3. Incorporates a sealed cabin roof section and 8 combatant seating modules.

59m Multi-purpose Guard Vessel
With the necessary investments the Markab has been turned into a multi-purpose/guard vessel. In 2013, the Markab got upgraded with some state of the art appliances and technical innovations, ready to start a new life as a multi-purpose or guard vessel. The innovations are to be found throughout our vessel. Costs weren't spared when making our second vessel of our fleet functional and ready to take on any challenge. Substantial investmemnt has been made in the vessel so that Markab has been turned into a multi-purpose/guard vessel. In 2013, the Markab was upgraded with state of the art appliances and technical innovations, ready to start a new life as a multi-purpose or guard vessel. The innovations are to be found throughout the vessel. Costs were not spared when converting the vessel. Each one can be coupled to the electromotor for propulsion or to power different equipment on the vessel. In general, only one (1) engine is required to sail with the vessel under good weather conditions. When sailing outside port limits, two (2) engines will ensure a speed of up to 10 knots. Three (3) engines are, under normal circumstances, only used when maneuvering in port or under heavy weather conditions. Equipment: Near the aft of the vessel a large crane was installed when the vessel was built. The system however had been taken out of commission by the Dutch Pilot Service years ago. Therefore the owners decided to remove the old crane and replace her with an alternative, which consisted of a second hand crane.The crane iwas also completely overhauled, during the installation onboard.
