Austal Offshore Express 57
In November 2016, Austal delivered one 57.6m High Speed Large Crew Transfer Vessel for Swire Pacific Offshore (SPO). In addition to a large, 200sqm cargo deck (allowing up to 100 tonnes of cargo to be transported), the vessel features DP2 -_Dynamic Positioning' that allows stable, heave-compensated walk-to-work transfer of personnel to offshore facilities. The vessel also has search and rescue capability, with an on-board Fast Rescue Craft (FRC) available for launch quickly when necessary. The advanced, multi-task crew boat is capable of quickly and safely transferring 90 offshore personnel plus cargo at up to 40 knots and shall be wholly constructed at Austal's Philippines shipyard. 35M Stand-by Vessel
A versatile and efficient craft, capable of exceeding 17 knots fully loaded, with a pair of main engines developing less than 1000 hp each. Extended range permits voyages to installations far offshore. The configuration includes a large wood sheathed cargo deck aft, a main deck passenger / staff cabin accommodating over forty seated persons and a crew area including a fully fitted galley, mess area and cabins for 10 crew below decks forward. Variations of the original design at 30.5m in length have been developed to carry out numerous other roles, including fire boats and survey vessels.
