Each one can be coupled to the electromotor for propulsion or to power different equipment on the vessel. In general, only one (1) engine is required to sail with the vessel under good weather conditions. When sailing outside port limits, two (2) engines will ensure a speed of up to 10 knots. Three (3) engines are, under normal circumstances, only used when maneuvering in port or under heavy weather conditions. Equipment: Near the aft of the vessel a large crane was installed when the vessel was built. The system however had been taken out of commission by the Dutch Pilot Service years ago. Therefore the owners decided to remove the old crane and replace her with an alternative, which consisted of a second hand crane.The crane iwas also completely overhauled, during the installation onboard.
